Attorney Kathleen White received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence, summa cum laude, from the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis. She specializes in family law and civil litigation and is also a qualified guardian ad litem and volunteer for the Domestic Violence Pro Bono Panel. Attorney White is admitted to practice before all state courts in Maine and the United States District Court for the District of Maine. She is a member of the Maine Bar Association, the Maine Trial Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association.

Attorney White studied European Union Law in Strasburg, France in 2004. In 2005, she served as the team leader of the European Union Moot Court, and her team won their way to the Regional Finals in Istanbul, Turkey. While in law school, Attorney White was the Symposium Editor of the Indiana Law Review, President of the Environmental Law Society, and a member of Phi Delta Phi. She was also a member of the Dean's Tutorial Society, Equal Justice Works, and a participant in the Pro Bono Program.

Prior to law school, Attorney White earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Policy and Behavior at the University of Michigan. She was a member of the Campus Program Leadership Team, the Environmental Justice Coalition, and a founding member of the Hamtramck Environmental Action Team. Following graduation from college, Attorney White, in her spare time, also served as a volunteer for the Land and Water Conservation Fund in Boulder, Colorado, educating people about the benefits of wind power.

In 2004-2005, Attorney White served as a Legal Extern at the Hoosier Environmental Council in Indianapolis, where Attorney White participated in drafting legislation regarding warning signs for mercury levels in water bodies and worked with local community groups helping them institute citizen suits under the Clean Water Act.
